A 6% lodging tax will be added to the total cost of your

POLICIES
Open year-round. - The central camp area is closed on Easter; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Eve & Day; New Year's Eve & Day. Venard Cabin, Coultrap Lodge and Cardinal Lodge are open year round.
Check-in is 3:00 pm or after. - Arrangements will be made with guests prior to their arrival to go directly to the cabin
or lodge that they have reserved.
Check-out is 11:00 am
Pets - welcome on leashes.
Smoking - permitted outside of cabins and lodges ONLY in
designated areas.
No minimum stay.
Campfires - only in the designated fire rings.
Firewood - CAN NOT be TRANSPORTED INTO Hocking County due to the infestation threat of the Emerald Ash Borer. The following options are available:
Bring lumber from skids or pallets to burn.
Wood can be collected from down timber at Camp Oty'Okwa.
Bundles of wood are available at camp for $5 per bundle.

By law, Senate Bill 321 passed June 2008, the camp is required to provide separation of guests in the rental units from youth groups staying in our central camp area. Guests staying in Venard Cabin, Coultrap Lodge and Cardinal Lodge DO NOT have use of our private hiking trails or use of our in-ground swimming pool.
NO Hunting Policy - For the protection of camp's guests, Camp Oty'Okwa does not allow on-site weapons, guns, paint ball or explosives.

The total reservation price is needed to secure your reservation. Alternative payment options may be arranged during the reservation process. If you have a situation requiring special
consideration about payment, please list this under “special requirements” on your reservation form. The Operations Coordinator will call or email you to make payment arrangements, confirm details and answer questions. Options for
later check-in can be discussed at that time.
Please note: Camp Oty’Okwa is owned and operated
by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio. Credit cards are processed through Kintera by
Big Brothers Big Sisters and credit card statements
will reflect as such.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the reservation date, require
50% of the total price. This amount will be charged to your credit card and will not be refundable.
Cancellations 15 days or more in advance will require a
$20 processing fee with your credit card.

including SUMMER CAMP, provided by Big Brothers Big Sisters
of Central Ohio whose mission is to provide quality mentoring
relationships inspiring youth to become confident, competent,
and caring individuals in our society.
